Russian translation of docs #1016

Closed IlyaLisov closed 5 months ago

IlyaLisov commented 8 months ago

The problem

Docs currently has only two languages, so I decided to contribute and translate them to Russian, where more people can learn how to use grpc-spring

The solution

Fully translated docs

Do you agree with proposal and can I start working on it?

I don't understand Russian and would have to use a translator to verify those. So I would like to have at least one reviewer, that is familiar with that language.

We are all looking forward to seeing your result.

@o-shevchenko I understand your thoughts about such issue, I stand with Ukraine. I think that updating docs needs a lot of time and can not be accurate as original, also during this process I lost my desire, so I think we can close this PR

I believe that introducing a new language is not a good idea. When new features are introduced, the community needs to keep the translation up to date. This makes contribution harder and documentation less consistent and accurate, leading to a worse developer experience.

As a Ukrainian, I have one more argument against it. Once upon a time, the wife of a war criminal who is currently acting as the President of Russia stated, 'Russia's borders end where the Russian language ends.' Therefore, if you don't want to experience a military invasion (this is a terrible experience, believe me), I do not recommend accepting this translation now or in the future.

@ajax-semenov-y I totally agree with you. I want to avoid any problems that come with this proposal. So let it be as it is.
