Drop /release #871

Contributes to https://github.com/grpc/grpc.io/pull/542 cleanup. This site is obsolete, so /release shouldn't be used; it currently returns the following value:

> curl -L https://grpc.github.io/release
v1.20.0

Post-merge, this is now the response:
