issues in version 3.2

Actually, I have posted this issue on my last open report, but not see your reply for several days.

Hi,problems of version 3.2.

After update to 3.2, I found that when I enter Chinese character(likely any non-western character) like "爱情公寓", it just open www.爱情公寓.com instantly.That is an unvalid URL format.Actually it should suggest from my bookmarks or open google search result as a search keyword.Then I found that inputting "iphone" will automactally open www.iphone.com which is unwant and inputting "iphone中文网" will still open www.iphone中文网.com. 3.1 is just OK. It is likely that the URL autofill and autocomplete feature has failed. I can not get any URL autocomplete suggestion like before.

Hi there, I cannot reproduce wat you are saying, I just typed "iphonegotback" and was taken to google search page for it. Can you please disable all of your other addons and then check it again ?

This time whenever I disabled other addons or created a new profile, the problem is still there.When I entered "iphone", it brought me directly to "www.iphone.com".Actually, it should suggest or open google search page with the keyword "iphone". By the way, 3.1 is just OK, it will suggest me iphone.com with ".com" blue.

By the way, I am using Firefox 17.0 aurora.

I am on 18, and I cannot reproduce this behavior ever, even if I type some word that is completely new, it redirects me to search page.

That is so strange. I still get the problem even if I change to another computer. I have to use 3.1.

Still the same. I get the error page from my ISP saying that "adjhajfksdjfhak.com you try to acess doesnot exist." The most important things is that after upgrade to 3.2 the URL auto complete feature does not work at all.

browser.urlbar.autoFill is false,I think it is disabled by your add on. The other one is true. extensions.AutoComplete.autoFillDefault is false.

Since the URL automplete feature failed, I have to enter what I want into URLbar and immediately press enter, it will lead me to the google search page.If I press nothing(I mean waiting), it will open www.whatIentered.com. Most time this domain does not exist.

One solution I can suggest yo is to uncheck the instantly preview features.

Yes, by unchecking instant preview,I will not get the www.whatIentered.com. But the URL autocomplete feature is still not available. The most important reason why I choose this add on is instant preview and auto complete feature even if that is provided by Firefox.

I contacted one of my friend. It seemed like he had the same problem. He is using Firefox 15.0.1 on Mac OSX.

Hey, you know what, I can see the auto-completion missing bug in one of my laptops. But still I cannot see the directly going to .com website without showing google result thing. I will further look into this that why the auto completion is not working in one of my machines, while it is working in other one.

That is a good news for me to know you reproduced my problem,although part of it. I tested a third computer installing Firefox 15.0.1, and my problem still turned out. So I am sure there must be something wrong with it. After all, 3.1 works fine for me.

In my this machine ,where I found this auto compelte not working issue, I still cannot reproduce that issue. I just type "asdavhjasdj' and it still took me to google . :(

Great. My problem has gone away after I update it to 3.3. It must be the auto complete feature failure that causes all the problems. Thanks a lot.

Rarely I still find the problem of directly going to www.whatIentered.com, but it is rare.
