CPU Utilization high since version Firefox version 25 update

Ever since the update to 25, the CPU utilization when idle has been 5% (Firefox windows minimized) and in a Google Doc it can go up to 35% (8GB of RAM, quad core processor). Love the extension but have had to disable. The issue persist when I disable all plugins, extensions and turn off hardware acceleration. There were no changes when FF 25.0.1 came about.

I have been getting these reports since 25 was in nightly, but I myself was unable to reproduce the issue even once. People have even given me their cpu profiles using the profiler, still no luck . As much as I want to fix this, I am unable to help until I can reproduce the issue

Try it on the computers of people you know until you find it? :/ This bug is months old now...

Using Palemoon Commander in Palemoon and enabling the option "use workaround for specific driver bugs" under graphics seemed to fix this, until I opened the dialog again to switch it off and confirm the difference... Such an odd bug this is, it just appears and disappears randomly between opening dialogs, switching tabs, enabling/disabling the add-on itself (as in toggling it off and back on sometimes fixes it), etc

I am having the same issue with high CPU utilisation. I am on version 26 atm. As soon as I enable the add-on, I get between 10-20% CPU utilisation on Firefox and when I disable it, it immediately goes back to normal even without restarting the browser.

I noticed this when the fan on my laptop was constantly in over-drive mode, heating up a lot and also quick drain of battery. Disabled this add-on and now all seems to be fine - can hardly hear the fan now!
