You can open any website with link like https://test:test@www.google.com/. Firefox will warn you but this does not affect extension functionality.
Yes, I can, and I tried too. But as soon as Firefox warns me, it looses the url format and loads the normal website. Only websites that support this feature will have this url format remained. So that is why I was asking you one example as you know some sites that have this format.

When I open an URL with login-password like http://login:password@domain then login and password are constantly shown in Identity Box. I expect it to be hidden as Firefox does without this extension.
