URI exceeding length of address bar #82

the URI extends outside of the address bar

another issue with this, or with URI's that fill the address bar, is it becomes difficult to edit the URI with the mouse - in other words it's hard to click off of the URI

Can you please attach a screenshot of how it looks on your system ?

hi scrapmac - i uninstalled your ext. went back to using the 'smart location' extension - the only thing it's missing for me is moving the link preview into the address bar and he may add that

as far as what the overlap looked like with yours, the text from long URI's simply extended beyond the right side boundary of the address bar, overlapping any controls (buttons) within the address bar (favorites star, stop/reload, etc.) or outside ot it (RSS feed button, 'list all tabs' button, etc.)

this is on win 7 btw

Hey, if you do not want to help, its fine. I would simply close this bug. On the other hand, if you would have helped me a little then I could have resolved your issue.

PS: there is a new theme coming that will make things so transparent and seamless that it will be impossible to resist.
