Feature request: Recent Chat history for a selected user

Collecting some community requests here for future development.

A feature was requested where:

• you click on a user's name
• click a menu entry from the popout menu, something like "View recent messages"
• after clicking, a new window (overlay? small, scrollable box on top of the chat) would open, displaying that user's recent messages he has written.

My thoughts: I'm not sure of the priority of this. Is this a often used feature from BTTV? The implementation could add another menu entry to the user context menu (or we could talk about more advanced and fancy user popups in the future), and the chat history itself could - only on request! - collect all the user's chat messages from my personal chat (so, no API request or anything, just searching through the visible chat history for messages).

I sometimes use this feature on Twitch to see what other users are replying to (though this additionally requires clickable @mentions). A conversation thread would be even better, i.e. what did two users write to each other.

Another use case could be moderation.

Should a conversation thread display limited to two users? I could see kind of an overkill here as soon as it's 3+ users that are mentioning each other (and how do we find out who's participating in that conversation)?
