Try manually setting the IP addresd, and set soap port to 5043

phbaumga commented 1 year ago

Here's the result I got when I tried with port 5043:

========== STARTING TEST ========== Node version: v16.14.2 Netgear package version: 4.4.2 OS: linux 4.14.15-g3c513a6eca Info: Homey fw:8.1.6 app: 4.2.0 t = 0 trying to auto discover Netgear routers... And if I check the router log, I get nothing. What tests can I do for you? I am an IT specialist...

Port 5043 is the one to use. TLS should be manually enabled in Homey app however. So I need to change the pairing to be able to set that. Im working on a new version of the Homey Netgear app. So please hang tight ;)

Hi Thanks for your reply. If I can be of any help...

I was able to add the router, I've checked all the boxes. Here are the steps: [image: IMG_6146.PNG] [image: IMG_6147.PNG] I've tried to add connected devices but the list is empty.

The app cannot connect to the router anymore. I've created a diagnostic report, here's the code: 99d85aaf-5b70-48d0-943c-ebf730a9172c

As there's always a connection problem, I ran a test from the app's test window and here's the result:

Looking good!. So it should work with these settings: host:192.168.1.1,port:5043,tls:true

phbaumga commented 1 year ago

I think I still need to change something because when I want to add a device connected to the router, the list is empty. However, in the App log, it finds devices... And then there's the red triangle on the router icon again, saying that the connection is impossible.
