Can't add TVs #181

When trying to add two of my tvs’ I'm not getting them to display on the add device in the home app. Looking at the log of Homebridge is see an error for both:

Diving to the plunging files each other tv has info about the device but both that are having issues are empty The TVs’ are not showing on the Homebridge setting under Unpair TVs Resetting the TV to the original setting didn’t help

I'm about to give up - please help

What a TV model?

55UQ75006LG is one of them

go to plugin settings, advanced settings >>> system >>> enable debug restart and get the log

Same problem here. Turned on debug, this is all in the log for this plugin.

I tried removing all relevent files again (after the upgrade) Files were created again, still empty

from your log I see the tv is not accessible for plugin side, go to the Homebridge console and ping the TV address. and post the log here.

P.S. - are you using docker image?

My Homebridge has no console option

I'm running on a Mac FYI - I have 5 other TVs running on the plugin with no issues

Strange, may be enable or disable ssl support in plugin config

After update, and finally getting a remote access auth dialog on the TV, mine is working for now. :-)

Still not working for me.

Removed and reinstalled the plunging (added all my TVs) Move to a different IP for the two TVs that I'm having problems with

I'm not getting the auth dialog on the two One common denominator I see is that the two are newer models running: LG DTV 03.33.80 / webOS 7.3.1 & LG DTV 03.33.85 / webos 7.3.1 (Maybe that can help)

To the log I sent, this is present only when the TVs are off or on; nothing is shown on the log. The LG ThinQ app is connected and working with all of my screens, including the problematic two.

This is driving me crazy, so I hope that a solution could be found :)

Here the plugin send ping to the TV IP Address:

if TV is online then try to connect to TV but in your case this never happen, so the plugin do not see the tv on network. Look in TV Network settings, may be is some options which blocks the ping probe.

I will prepare beta with other probe system.

No change for the two, but now (I think) the others that worked are "No Response" when off Can I revert to 2.14.1? Or wait for you?

This TV is one of the two - it's off now. The other one I need help with is on - and I get nothing on the log about it.

If the TV was ON during record this log then is something wrong in your network or the new firmware get some function which block connect ti it. Check your TV settings and Network settings.

Looks like same problem here #180 with G3 device

219 TV was on There is nothing on the network setting that I can see that will block. This is the version: LG DTV 03.33.85 / webos 7.3.1

If the new firmware not break the connection to TV then must be something on your local environment because all other Your TV working correct, I have also 5 webOS TV at home with different webOS version and all working correct.
