New listing import api /listing/import

For:

import from app store, google play, crunchbase, angelco, startuply

This is essentially just:

/listing/import?type=appstore&id=8912703

followed by an import process, which should take two parameters:

TYPE (appstore, google, etc.)

ID (whatever the ID is on the system, usually one numeric field)

angelco/startuply are implemented mostly already

For android, you can try using this java library that connects with an undocumented google API:

The main issue in all those imports is identification of the application. Numerical ids are the best but user won't probably know them. Most likely we'll have to add additional step which will allow user to narrow query.

Yeah I had thought of that. Something like a search box, and they enter application ID or their name or whatever (free text), then we return a list of items to select for, then they click the application, then it goes to the new listing prefilled basic page.

In this case the import API needs to have two steps, one that returns search results with a few fields (app name, author name, appId), and one that does /listing/create?type=iOS&appId=9870870987.
