Install path #5

This one is great! Have been looking for a while for a nice, slick and simple piece of (open source) software that you can minimize to the corner to play audio. Especially nice touch that the number played also pop op in the messages screen (a toggle for this to turn onor off might also be handy, but off course you can also do this in Windows).

This meets all my needs and is in use every day.

Ps. Would it be possible to change the instal path (or make that chooseable). It will now install to C:\ which I like to keep clean. Most expected would be C:\Program Files\ (but I can understand this makes it compplicated as the playlist.txt needs to be writable and is now in the same directory). Another great option would then be C:\Users**user**\AppData\Local\Programs (where the program will be able to do that).

Just a suggestion, not a problem. I now install on C:\ and then copy the folder to program files (I then only have to remind myself not to overwrite my playlist.txt 😊)

Thank you very much, #Dream1975 for your response. I am very glad to hear that my application is suitable for the next person. But I think it's our application because you gave me the feedback that is needed for its development.

Of course, I will create the possibility of hiding notifications at the application level. It is a good direction.

When it comes to the installation path, I think I can add it.

P.S. For now, TuneScape is well tested, and it will take time when I add new functionality. Patience :)

I wish there were more such suggestions.

Ok, now TuneScape allows you to choose the install path and turn on or off notifications.

Should notification options be remembered the next time I launch them? If so, give it a thumbs up.

That's great (and very quick, my gosh 😊)

As for the toggle version, there is something to be said for both options.

  1. Next launch it is off again so you can switch it off for now if you don't want a popup for each version because you have to concentrate and not get a popup with each song but also don't have to worry to forget putting it back on.
  2. If you, for example, use it on a work PC, it can also be handy that the setting is remembered so you only have sound start and everything is still as you left it.

I think my preference would be option 2, but I'll leave the choice to you as it is your app and either way is fine with me.

Thanks a million for your great app again.

From v4.0.3, your notifications are saved.
