This is a very unusual PDF with almost only images that are rotated. I'll look into this once I'm out of the "dark zone" between Salzburg and Munich, as right now my web connection is patchy at best ...

This one basically looks like a slide show wrapped into an article to me ... never stops amazing me. Will have to figure out a way of handling this.

On the other hand, I'm left to wonder what your desired extraction result would be ... frankly, I'm not all too fond of this kind of publication recycling.
