For EJT at least we need to find a solution how we deal with treatmentCitations. They should all look the same way, and if we link them, then they should resolve to a treatment Stub that could eventually be completed by the crowd.

Whether or not those guys all look the very same is definitely out of our hands ... => recommendation to EJT Whether or not those syntactic differences bear any semantics is up to you to tell me ...

Regarding treatment stubs, I might be repeating myself here: A treatment stub requires full bibliographic metadata, not only author and year, so creating treatment stubs merely from treatment citations is not possible unless the author+year combination is also a bibliographic citation that resolves to a full set of bibliographic metadata via the bibliography.

Treatment stub or not, what we have right here does enable us to generate taxon concept URIs, which is exactly why we designed the latter like we did.
