The "GenBank accession" prefix should pretty much nail it, I guess ... though I tend to doubt that that's always given as nicely and cleanly.
And even the plain "two-capital-letter-six-digits" pattern should be pretty easy to model. However, for the sake of precision, I'd like to clarify two things:
I am not sure about the first two letters. need to read through the documentation, as well as regarding 0
Would it be possible to add an additional annotation element "GenBankCode" and if possible find a way to automatically discover and code it?
The GenBankCode or GenBankAccession are normally in the form of MF185704, i.e. 2 capital letters and 6 numbers. e.g. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/nucleotide/EF610896
