Does not work in G Suite #2

Hi! Love this so much but it only works in my normal gmail account. It does not work in my family account (I set up a g suite just for my family members).

It uses the same domain as my normal gmail account ie

https://mail.google.com/mail/u/1/#inbox

...so I'm not sure what the issue could be...

Can I help you resolve this somehow?

Hi there,

In my testing, it does work in G-Suite, so I'm not sure what specifically the bug might be. Are you using a different browser by any chance when you're using G-Suite for your family account?

Hi Gabriel

No, I always use Chrome...

I do typically have all three email accounts open simultaneously though... It didn't seem to make a difference if I closed all but one G Suite account and reloaded... although all accounts were still logged in (I wasn't asked for a password and the User ID was remembered - see the u/0 u/1 u/2 in the url)... https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/#inbox (usually my standard gmail account) https://mail.google.com/mail/u/1/#inbox (usually my family account) https://mail.google.com/mail/u/2/#inbox (usually my work account)

HOWEVER, I've discovered that if I log out of all accounts and back into the work account FIRST, then YES your script does work in a G Suite session.

This means the problem is actually that the script will only run in the first account which is logged in, not any additional accounts... It just seemed to be with G Suite due to the order in which I opened my accounts.

On the plus side, I now have a workaround... But do you think could get it to run on all open gmail sessions?

Interestingly it WILL run in more than one window if I open a second for the same G Suite account.... so it's more of an issue with multiple sessions than multiple windows, I guess...

Cheers, Glenn

Hi Gabriel

Just a bit of extra info - Chrome won't let me determine my work account as the primary (ie u/0) so the workaround doesn't "stick". Whenever I close and restart the browser, the standard gmail account has switched over to become the u/0 again becomes the only session where the script works...

I presume that is because chrome is logged in / syncing to my primary (standard gmail) account... to sync bookmarks etc...

Do you think this is something that you'll be able to put time into to resolve?

Hi G,

I've looked into it a bit already and will continue to do so. Thanks for trying to help on it, so far it's a little mysterious why this behavior is happening. I'll follow up some more soon.
