Battery charging animation only appears once and never appears again after dissappearing

b020 doesn't solve the issue even after updating most parts of the ramdisk

maybe selinux is joking on you?

It's possible. I'll see if it makes a difference with selinux enabled (after fixing all of the build errors first)

Edit: All findings didn't fix the charging issue. Back to the drawing board :)

Gustavo kernel had no problem with charging animation.

Possible reasons:

• Selinux is enabled on gustavo kernel, so animation works fine
• Dori kernel might have something wrong in the Init script/lpm script...

Kernel areas/files of interest:

• lpm.rc (low power mode script responsible for screen off charging) - Seems all good so it might not be this

I have a new idea now. I'll copy the charger binary from CM13 ramdisk and hope for the best :)

Marshmallow kernel seemed to have charging animation restored :)

Solved! Replacing the symlink with the proper binary worked fine. Tested on CM12.1 official nightly :)

Previous fix seems to only work on initial boot. Back to the drawing board!
