[Effect Suggestion] Fake Waypoint Teleport #747

Fake Teleport to Waypoint

**Teleport then about 2 to 3 seconds brings him back to his previous position. Does not allow him to activate any missions objects/start missions/checkpoints

Teleport to Waypoint then teleport him back to his previous point

How do I delete it so there is no duplicates.

Also could not find it when I did Control F and searched for Fake

Hi there, you can’t delete it, only the owner can. And btw. you might wanna re-open it since I noticed you were referring to Teleport to Waypoint and not to Random Teleport (what I had in mind because I didn’t read the title), my bad.

That is fine. It has been re-opened.

I will leave it open and if it is a duplicate (Which from a quick look with control f) it isn't. (Or I couldn't find it) When the person with Authority comes around they could just delete it.

The one thing that I think is an issue is disabling mission starting/ continuing. This is like fake teleport where it mission fails as you went too far from the mission but instead, it could continue/ start the mission than on the tp back it will just mission fail with the mission continuing. If that makes sense.

I just wanted the general concept out there. If it gets changed or modified in anyway but keeps the base of it ( Teleporting to waypoint raising hope then teleporting back to original position. Crashing that hope.)

Then I am happy and look forward to seeing DarkvipersAU reaction

I understand what you wanted and it seemed like a good idea but with that it could start mission then mission fail or just tp the person in the cutscene.

Could do something similar (Could be impossible since it is different) to where a fake random teleport takes you to LA Airport you do not get the cops.

Anyway. A approach could be Save current location/mission progress into cache (Last known location) then activate fake teleport then teleport back. "If" mission fail "reload/Inject" last known location taking back to original position under the same checkpoint that was saved into cache. "If" after duration of 15 secs variable of last mission/checkpoint/etc does not synch up with "last known location" reload/inject last known location.

Anyway I'm not a programmer so i could be completely wrong. I am just throwing stuff at the wall to see if it sticks.
