Upgrade existing websites from Typesettercms 5.1 to 5.3-p8 #18

Hello, Is there a way to upgrade an existing website based on typesettercms 5.1 to the newest version 5.3? I have a lot of customer actually on server php 7.x, but very soon servers will be changed on php 8. It means websites must be ready.

Before I knew it was enough to update the folder include and themes... but now?

The process has been described under issue 8 and issue 11 before :

  1. Make a backup under tools
  2. The include-directory is the Typesetter kernel - to exchange completely
  3. Then exhange the themes- directory and the addons-directory and the gpconfig.php in the root See that You do not overwrite or delete used themes and addons ( the data are in the data-directory - and also installations of plugins and themes from web)
