Hi @bbartling -- these are SHACL shapes that validate entities in a Brick model as being compliant with different point lists from G36. I've implemented these for a few of the point lists in section 4 of the standard. You can think of these files as machine-readable specifications of what points / configurations / etc make a given VAV a "G36 Cooling-Only VAV", etc.
I am actually presenting some academic work tomorrow on how these kinds of machine-readable descriptions can be used to help create Brick (and RealEstateCore, and ASHRAE 223P, etc) models that are compliant with certain metadata requirements. I can't talk about all the work publicly yet but we are hoping to have an open-source release w/n a month or two. If you send me an email (you can find this on https://home.gtf.fyi) I can give you some more details
Hi Gabe,
I am on the Brick email chain and noticed you posted a link to this repo. What does this tool do?
I work for a research firm where we are testing G36 sequences in cold climates.
Thanks
