Updated and published to npm. Tested for Windows 8 => Ubuntu and OSX => Ubuntu. If anyone in this issue can test latest with OSX => Windows Server and Windows => Windows Server, I would appreciate it. Otherwise, I'll look into paying for an ec2 windows instance
Oh - and if you guys like emojis, you can wrap +1 with a colon to get the icons. :+1:

@klwemu - can I get the OS of your local and remote operating system? This, as well as the remotePath parameter you're using in your gulp config.
Just tested fine with OSX => Ubuntu. Your local OS is clearly windows, I need more info on the remote OS.
Also just tested fine with Win7 => Ubuntu. More info needed here. Please post your version of gulp-sftp too.
Hello, local is W8.1 and remote is Ubuntu.

Err case: When we have a new folder (for a blog posting) in ..nginx/html/blog/newFolder the err raises. I hope this help´s

Folders wich do not exist remtely can´t be created.
