update settings and views

updates many things:

makes settings disableable with disableSettings option
makes darkmode configurable per user
makes share url shorter
updates search performance
fixes authentication user issues
updates styling with 4 view modes " compact, list , gallery, and normal"
sets signup to false by default
adds configurations for profile in settings/profile -- including moving the darkmode option to profile
