I cannot access any sites that requires the use of HTTP/S aka https://check.torproject.org

Confirming that HTTPS doesn't work on HTC Hero running Android 1.5. Error screen says:

An error has occurred

To remedy this try:

loading this page again (clicker here to refresh)
or stopping and starting the TorProxy anonymous data connection and trying again

What sites did you try connecting to via HTTPS?

Hmm, https://check.torproject.org works. https://wordpress.com front page loads, entering uname/pw breaks it. https://mail.google.com and https://twitter.com fail to load. Should this become another bug?

No this is good... we can just track it here. There is something subtle happening with redirects, certificate warnings and POSTs.

Just finally closing this out. HTTPS works very consistently these days.
