When accessing via desktop tor browser the Haven hidden service, the activated Haven crashes. Running latest beta.

There’s a few open issues with the tor config, to help narrow down what’s happening:

Can you reproduce the crash using a tor browser on the device?
Did you set a password for the service?
What device & android version

Tried it now with latest Firefox for Android, which is configured to access .onion addresses as well.

Same crash happens if Haven is activated. However if it is only running in the background but not activated, I can view the log via onion.
I did set a password.
Oneplus One, android 7.1.2, rooted CandyROM, no Gapps.

With latest version I cannot access tor hidden service at all. It's as if it did not exist -despite being shown on Orbot settings.

I've tried TOR browser as well.

Using android Oreo 8.1 on OneplusOne

Unfortunately the only real fix I’ve found is removing haven and orbot and doing a fresh install. You could try clearing the app caches on your device first.

Possible fixes/explanation:

If haven tries to start the server once without the password it will continue to fail and seem unresponsive.
Turn off the tor setting, exit settings then open it again.
Enter a NEW password and save. For whatever reason it checks for string change before activating. -Activate the tor setting in haven: with any luck the Orbot onboarding should complete successfully.
