while i can configure audio thresholds to trigger on occasion, i would love it if there were a toggle to always record audio whenever video recording triggers.
use case: let's say you have a slightly noisy environment. a hotel room with a loud A/C unit that kicks on and off. you don't want to get alerts and roll audio recording every half hour or so. but, if anyone DOES enter the room unannounced, triggering a camera alert and video recording, then that user might prefer that the phone DEFINITELY starts recording audio. even if the audio might have background noise, it's still quite valuable.
absolute best case: please try to record audio with the same start/stop points as capturing video. this allows for easy stitching together of the audio and video later as evidence, etc. if the files do not correlate to one another directly, then almost no one outside of a professional news organization or an expert with multimedia editing is going to be able to reconstruct those files in a meaningful way.
part of this "make it easy to correlate audio and video files" point will be a separate feature request I want to raise which i'm calling "ISO8601 ALL THE THINGS!" for consistency of date and time formatting.
