Getting weird symbols on cm-11 #155

Open SDkie opened 9 years ago

SDkie commented 9 years ago

When I click on 'Open Terminal' in lildebi running with cm-11, I am getting some weird symbols '0;60R'. But /debian/shell works fine.

Please check the image below. I have tested it on Nexus 5 cm-11. @godlessfather is also getting similar symbols on his Nexus 5 cm-11

I get them on CM11 but not SlimKat. SlimKat does not include Terminal Emulator for Android as a system app so I've tried deleting Terminal Emulator and associated libraries from /system and installing from F-Droid. Regardless of how it's installed, TEA gives the same error on CM11.

Even I tried it, but it didn't worked.

https://github.com/jackpal/Android-Terminal-Emulator/issues/353 seems to be the cause of this.

I got nothing when I click on 'Open Terminal' ?

Is this worse or better? :-)

adamjhogan commented 9 years ago

@karstengit based on your other recent issues, I'm going to guess you don't have a full install and the behavior you experience is expected.

Yes - the installation seems to be broken. I will try to start again from zero. But the better way would be if i can use my ready installation i made with the script of Sven Ola. I have written about it here https://github.com/guardianproject/lildebi/issues/143
