Describe the Solution You'd Like The main screen is too empty and lacks useful information.

The requests are

to make the main screen more useful and informative, by showing the current entry node country+flag and current exit node country+flag,
to bring "Download" and "Upload" back, like it is in v16.6.4,
to move Proxy Ports from the "More" screen back to the main screen , like it is in v16.6.4 - would avoid the need to do an unneeded extra tap.
