Connection drops when is not in use #539

Device: Huawei P9 lite Andriod 7

If I connect to the Tor network using Orbot and I stop using my device for a few minutes the connection drops and it doesn't allow me to connect to any website, the only way to re-establish the connection is to restart my device. if I look in the logbook it is all cleared out or it says: ignore start request all ready started.

or tell them to join the Beta program on Google Play if they can access it there.

Also, restarting Orbot or turning off the VPN should also solve the issue

Same problem here, latest Beta on Android 12. Disabling VPN is not an option, because I use it to Tor-enable some apps. I already disabled the battery optimization for Orbot. Any suggestions?
