Hello!
I use both Orbot and Tor-Browser on Android. They both work fine apart from each other, but I experience a minor issue when using them both simultaneously. I could be wrong, but I think it started to happen after some of the recent updates. At least, I can't remember seeing such behavior previously. What is the issue:
1) Open Orbot, connect to Tor network and keep it running.
2) Open Tor-Browser and connect to Tor network.
3) Exit Tor-Browser (three dots -> Quit)
4) Open Orbot - it will be disabled now.
5) Try to start Orbot.
Results:
Orbot does not start, connection Log shows the message Ignoring start request, already started. To be able to start Orbot I need to close it (three dots -> Exit) and reopen. Then I can connect to Tor again. It seems that Tor-Browser somehow "seizes" Orbot and does not release it on exit. Is it the expected behavior? As long as I remember, previously I could use both Orbot and TB at the same time, and they did not interfere with each other.
Not sure if it matters, but I use shadowsocks proxy running on a VPS in another country to connect to Tor (Tor is blocked in my country).
I am also having issues where Tor Browser is not able to connect when Orbot's VPN settings are set to block Non-VPN connections. Not sure if this is related, but I thought I'd mention it.
Orbot 16.6.1-RC-3-tor.0.4.6.10 Tor-Browser 11.0.13 LineageOS 18.1(Android 11)
