VPN issue of Orbot 17 RC1

My OS is Android 13. I use OpenVPN and Orbot at the same time. Options "Allways-on VPN" and "Block connections without VPN" are active on android OpenVPN settings. All traffic passes via OpenVPN. The part of this traffic directed to Orbot further.

Orbot has its own VPN mode. I usually turn it off and Orbot works well. But new Orbot verion (17.0.0 RC-1) creates new VPN always and does not allow to disable VPN mode. Therefore I have two different VPN on my Android. Only one VPN can be turned on but I need both services (Orbot and OpenVPN).

Power user mode actually doesn't work correctly for me. when it's on, Orbot doesn't create a vpn but still closes all other vpns. So It Doesn't let me use tor over my vpns.

Same here, back to 16.6.4-RC1 from 03.03.2023.

When there is no WiFi, Orbot Crash or when only VPN (alwaysOn/ block connections) Orbot is on.

I have all time the flight mode on, an communicate over public WiFi's.

only workaround for now is to downgrade back to version 16 which you can do without losing your settings with adb install -d

I solved this: Go to your phone Settings->Network & Internet->VPN, select Orbot in the list of your VPN apps and tap Forget VPN. Now you can start Orbot in power user mode, and it won't disable your other VPN.
