Doesn't go past Waiting for AppleTV

The app starts and finishes downloading the content but never gets past the "Waiting for AppleTV" stage. The computer can see and even airplay to the device however TorrenTV never plays the downloaded video.

OS X 10.9.4 Mavericks Apple TV 2nd generation

Hello, please provide more information about what OS you are using and your AppleTV's version to see if there is anything in common with people who is having this problem.

I was using the latest release of Mavericks (10.9.4 i think) and the latest Apple TV firmware (6.2)

i also have the same problem. latest version of mavericks and 2- Apple TV's 3rd generation, one plugged into ethernet cable other to wi-fi and the waiting problem on both

Hi folks,

What version of the Mac you have? AirPlay only works with versions:

iMac (Mid 2011 or newer)
Mac mini (Mid 2011 or newer)
MacBook Air (Mid 2011 or newer)
MacBook Pro (Early 2011 or newer)
Mac Pro (Late 2013 or newer)

With OS X Mountain Lion or later.

Same here. Restarted, to no effect. MacBook Pro early 2011, OSX Mavericks, AppleTV 2. No other problems with AirPlay.

Ok guys, i had the same issue with an mid2010 iMac and a 2 gen Apple TV, I though it wasn't working because of an airplay deficiency, but it's just piratebay magnet files doesn't work, try other torrent source and with the magnet or torrent file it will work

@Jorheresc the torrent files seem to download perfectly for me. The app is also supposed to be able to stream local videos but that didn't work for me either.

Thanks for the update. It now detects my Apple TV, and it starts streaming to it, but the Apple TV is now stuck on the progress circle and I left it there for 5 minutes and nothing happened. I tried this on both Mavericks and Yosemite, same result on both, latest Apple TV version.

@Yashrg that happened to me before using magnets from piratebay, but it worked with yts torrents, i still don't try the update!

I dropped a movie torrent file kat.ph. The program detects the Apple TV. It also shows movie is downloading but nothing comes up on Apple TV except the spinning wheel.

@ssray23 I tried kat.ph as well. 0.9.5 seemed to fix issues for me.
