Roku IP message #23

Show the ip in the UI so can be used in the Roku App without further knowledge.

How do you "show the IP in the UI"? Trying to set up my ROKU but it doesn't even show up in the TorrenTV window on my Mac

The IP is the same as the computer where TorrenTV is running, it's just a matter of showing it in the user interface since for now it is assumed that the user can check the network configuration and find the IP address by himself.

That is what I thought. So I have TorrenTV open on my mac, the TorrenTV app is open on my Roku, the IP address of my mac is entered on the Roku app, and yet TorrenTV on my mac does not see that I have a device connected. Any suggestions?

Yes, the Roku will not appear in the TorrenTV app because the Roku doesn't present itself to the Roku just consumes it, yet if you start playing it on the Roku it will work.

Now that you mention it, I can figure out how to show the Roku in the TorrenTV user interface when the Roku Channel is opened, thanks!
