Waiting for devices ... and can't find Apple TV #48

TorrentTV Version 0.9.6 (0.9.6) On Mavericks 10.9.4

It's downloading but can't find the Apple TV says "waiting for devices..."

I can use Airplay iMac to AppleTV no problem, so AppleTV is accessible.

Is there any setting I need to set on the AppleTV? what am I missing.

Did you update your AppleTV to the new 7.0 (12A365b) firmware? (released the same time as iOS8).

My AppleTV automatically updated and had the same problem. Downgraded AppleTV back to 6.2 (11D257c) resolved the issue and AppleTV was discovered by TorrenTV again.

I think it has something to do w/ the new AppleTV firmware.

I have AppleTV 6.2 model MD199X/A It didn't automatically update the firmware, but there's is one there.

Maybe I should upgrade the firmware? how do you downgrade though?

Connect your Apple TV to your computer with mini usb cable... Download the older firmware from the web... Shift/option click to restore your appleTV. Select the older firmware you just downloaded.

the only solution is downgrade the firmware?

I am not sure if this is fixed, but it seems like it should be labeled critical. I know other apps that stream to AppleTV have fixed for the update, so it's possible.

I have exactly the same problem. I would prefer to not downgrade the Apple TV

Same issue, also wouldn't like to downgrade the Apple TV (which seems like a temporary solution anyway). Any news on a fix?

If you are con Windows or Mac, you can try with version 0.9.9 https://github.com/TorrenTV/TorrenTV/releases

I'm waiting for devices on apple tv and chromecast. Windows and mac. Latest versions and older.

Same here this bug seemed to never of been fixed.
