Can't change keyboard layout for ICS on Acer Aspire One #722

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Test Android-x86 ICS on Acer Aspire One with international layouts (mine is 
Brazilian, but I've heard (http://xinita.org/?p=1236) Spanish won't work either)
2. Type common sentences. The layout is American, lots of things won't work. 

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I wish I could type correctly according to the keyboard layout :)

Great work, guys, this is... Kind of a wishlist thing, I guess? That's the only 
thing keeping me from using it.

I got mine Acer Aspire One ZG5 (android 4.0 Asus Laptop) to work to portuguese 
layout plus some extra cientific symbols,  by making changes on file 
/system/usr/keychars/Generic.kcm.
