I need this too. 
I want to run Android on my Surface Pro, but it's UEFI only.

Same here, ASUS TX300CA notebook use GPT partition type on both SSD and HDD, I 
can only install Android-x86-4.4-rc1 on SD card (which grub2 in Fedora can't 
detect it)
