You have to customize your iso yourself.
Basically speaking, add the driver to kernel config (if not in already)
and change the 0-auto-detect script.

Where would a n00b like myself find the proper drivers? In what directory
would we stuff said drivers, and what
procedure would we use to recompile kernel?

Same question, none of my wifi-usb adapters are recognized by default, any
