No wifi internet connection on a Viewpad 10 with 4.0-RC1-tegav2

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. trying to connect to my wireless router.
2. X
3. X

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
A wifi connection. 
Instead, it keeps endlessly and rapidly switching between 'Connecting...' and 
'Saved, secured with WPA/WPA2' with no internet connection what so ever.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
android-x86-4.0-RC1-tegav2.iso on a Viewpad 10 (TegaV2). No luck with the early 
ICS build either.

Please provide any additional information below.
All other released up to 3.2 work (more or less) perfectly and I am in fact 
able to make a successful wifi connection with my android phone when using it 
as a hotspot.

works fine on my VPAD10(viewsonic)...been using it
since feb 27th release...

As I just found out it seems that my type of modem has certain issues with ICS. 
When (wire) connecting another wifi router on to it I can successfully connect 
to that signal instead. Perhaps is the same strict NAT settings thing that 
makes online gaming on Xbox LIVE a disaster.

With a bit of luck the ISC update for my phone will roll out this week. Let's 
see if it gives the same problem.
