Step by Step installation of Android 4.0 RC1 on MSI Windpad 110W #769

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Downloaded the ISO from android-x86.org
2. Created bootable USB with ISO
3. Installation to "hard drive" fails

I have Windows 8 Consumer Preview on the MSI Windpad. How do I install Android 
4.0 RC1 on it? I am ok with dual boot or wiping off Win8 completely.

1.- Install windows 8, leave a 2Gig partition free for android
2.- Install android on second partition, format as ntfs
3.- Accept Grub installation and the addition of the windows menu
4.- When asked, run android and check that everything is OK
5.- Restart, go to the 'windows' option and press 'e' to edit
6.- Press 'e' again on the boot disk selection
7.- Change the (hd0, 1) text to (hd0, 0), press enter to save
8.- Press 'o' to boot win8
9.- Find "grub.conf" and edit again the same line as before (for some reason, 
the change is not saved)
10.- Enjoy.
