Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install Android as dual boot, boot Android
2. Open Manager, can only see fake SD card and a small Android portion of HDD
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expect to be able to see entire 160GB HDD

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
android-x86-4.0-RC1-tegav2.iso

Please provide any additional information below.
android-x86-4.0-RC1-tegav2.iso
Android-x86 4.0-RC1 live and installation iso for Tegav2 (Atom N455 tablet)
Started with this version because it is based on the same processor as my
netbook (Acer Aspire One D255E, Windows 7 Starter)
- WARNING: An unknown tablet
- WARNING: An unknown model
Installing to HDD, dual boot, Grub loader, 3rd partition, read-write, only
asked 512MB user, 2GB fake SD Card
(Part1 is 13GB Recovery Partition, Part2 is 100MB NTFS System Reserved, Part3
is 135.95GB NTFS drive C)
Keyboard did not work at first
- Open Terminal Emulator (Alt+F1), type "su" [enter] to become root
- then "rm /system/usr/keylayout/AT_Translated_Set_2_keyboard.kl" [enter], then
reboot
- Keyboard works now
Have to press power button to wake-up, can't wake-up with touchpad
Okay, I have dual boot to Android, where can I find my files created in Windows
7?
- Apparently I now have a 512MB tablet with a 2GB fake SD card
- How can I get the rest of my 160GB HDD to show up? Maybe as a fake USB drive?
Arrow keys will rotate screen
Found and connected to home wireless – WiFi works
Works: Touchpad and buttons, Camera, Audio, Quick search, Internet, Multimedia,
Games, Multilingual,File Manager

Thanks for all your hard work!

1st you may want to try/use this version for your Acer Aspire

       http://www.ceh-photo.de/blog/?p=464

2nd after installing your image and your device is running goto google
market and try this app...with it you should be able to see shared windows
folders/disk/etc...

       ANDSMP apk from the market

to early in the day...that's a typo...the app should be:
