Keyboard freeze during Android etup #891

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Boot off an Android x86 2.3 ASUS Laptop live/install USB.
2. Use the keyboard to select "Install Android x86 to harddisk"
3. Partition screen appears, try to press any key (ANY AT ALL!)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
It should react to the key I press, instead it just doesn't respond to thee 
keyboard.

What version of the product are you using? 
v2.3 for the Asus Laptop/Tablet
