As a contributor to the dictionary (BiGF00T), I would like to know which entries are missing in the dictionary so that I can add them. The old handedict had a feature for that where failed searched (that didn't get a result) were listed sorted by how many times they were searched. One could then add the entry and thus improve the dictionary. In the beginning, the list was full of names like "Maria, Thomas" etc. but I think they had implemented a blacklist to filter out such entries from the list.
Suggestions:
Save failed queries into a table together with search frequency
Show them in a table somewhere under "Bearbeiten" so that one can jump to "Neuer Eintrag" when clicking on the search term.
Refresh list after entry was added or frequenly once a day and remove now existing entries.
Add a blacklist filled with names, surnames, numbers and common misspellings of words
Possibly add a "last searched" timestamp to the entries so that they can be cleaned up if they weren't searched for a long time.
Possibly add a character limit to search queries to avoid whole texts to be saved as failed queries.
The feature will still need some maintenance by dedicated people. This might become a community task of powerusers who have proven to contribute reasonably. But in the beginning, it could just be a list that fills up.
