10 - Updating wpss-added fields in Webkit browsers doesn't work #10

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Edit a post with a slideshow or photo in a Webkit browser, such as Safari, 
Chrome, Arora, Epiphany, Konqueror, iCab, etc.
2. Attempt to enter or update text in the Geo Location or Original URL, and hit 
Update.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

The text should update, but instead, it disappears.  As a result, these fields 
can only be edited in other browsers (IE, Mozilla browsers, etc).
