enhancement - Allows adding the Splunk search results in the JIRA Description field (in CSV or JSON format) #173

With an other app for splunk (not compatible with python v3) we had the ability to add the search result direct into the description. Now it is "only" possible to add the result as an attachment. So i would ask if there is any possibility to add the complete search result directly into the JIRA description?

Yes. Not the first time I was get this request, I didn't consider it yet, let's make that happening.

Is it possible to truncate the length of the search result in description to a value lower than max length in JIRA?
