ppsapp patch request #27

Hello

I don't know if its possible to get a v5.0 firmware patched. Asking for any help that could point me in the right direction or can offer a patched version.

@KevinWillemarck sorry we have no patch for 5.0.5 as of writing this. At least some of these devices don't seem to even run linux.

@guino That's a bummer. But if I remember correct I read somewhere that with firmware v5.x onvif and rtsp could be enabled or is enabled. Is this correct or did I understand it wrongly? Or is this something that can only be accomplished with rooting the firmware?

@KevinWillemarck if you have a hardware programmer, heat gun and enough skill to handle them you may be able to change the settings in the firmware like posted on this issue: https://github.com/guino/BazzDoorbell/issues/62#issuecomment-1091869295 but we have no solution to rooting it without hardware work and there’s no way to access the settings other than rooting or hardware programmer.
