Pino stops updating and doesn't close #249

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Run Pino.
2. Wait long enough.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Pino should work the same as when it was started.
Instead, no new updates are shown - that is, except the user's, and only
then, only the ones written from Pino.
When that happens, also, Pino cannot be closed: right click->Quit does nothing.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
pino 0.2.6 on Ubuntu 10.04

i can confirm the second issue, sometimes i can't close pino from right click 
in the 
tray icon, but the first one nope, i haven't experienced that.

Also, you should update Pino, the 0.2.8 was just released :)

The two issues happen simultaneously for me. Whenever Pino stops updating, I 
know I
won't be able to close it.

On Pino 0.2.8 the update bug is (apparently) gone. Still, it sometimes cannot 
be closed.
