avatars not loading in 0.2.10

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.start pino and let it update the timeline.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect to see subscribers' avatars as usual. 

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
0.2.10 on Linux Mint 8 Xfce.

Please provide any additional information below.
It's been working fine before. I reinstalled Mint a couple days ago and when I 
installed pino it wouldn't load avatars anymore, except mine and 2-3 others. 
Tried clearing the cache, reinstalling pino. Nothing helps, so far.

The avatars show up in the notification bubbles, and in the User Info tab. They 
do not appear in the Home timeline, in the Direct msg timeline, nor in the 
Mentions timeline. Right now I have 28 images in ~/.cache/pino but I'm not 
seeing them in the timelines.
