@Jiayi-Cao and I had a great meeting today talking about the various tradeoffs of how to measure $T{spot}$ and $f{spot}$. We agreed that the long term solution is to add those parameters as tunable knobs---i.e. sliders---to the dashboard #3 . But in the meantime, we agreed that fitting just the normal parameters (Teff, logg, [Fe/H], vsini, RV), is both scientifically useful, and informative.
So the next step is to run that experiment on one visit of one spectrum, but all spectral orders.
