Would require some heavy lifting:

Put the example data somewhere publicly fetch-able
Remove and rewrite hardcoded paths, etc
Thinking about build-matrices
Do not require GPUs for the tests to run, or some flag for turning off GPU-specific tests

This may not be worth it? But automatic testing is really nice. tradeoffs!
