Adding information about shortcut classes to "Regular Expression Syntax" section. #445

This took me forever to figure out, it would be awesome if you put it in the 
documentation.

Note that character class shortcuts (IE \w, \W and \s) are *NOT* valid POSIX 
extended regular expressions despite working under Linux (they don't work under 
FreeBSD or older Mac OS/X versions).
