PB Expose not showing first photo of website in email template preview #271

During our training session today with PB, we found the following example of a new listing (in this case) that isn't showing the main exterior photo as the Expose's image. Instead Expose was showing the guest bathroom shot. When I went to 173 Silver Moss's listing object in both Chrome and Safari, I see between 80-100 images, with several of them duplicates. I don't know what's going on. What do you make of this? We need the first photo of our website to be the first image in the Expose so when we use the Browser features of PB, we get the right photo. Also, I have no idea how to get use the Browser feature in PB because it's slow and sucks. So if you can find a way to "see" how this listing appears in Expose I'd appreciate it. I can't provide a screen shot.

This is fixed.... I wish I had an answer as to why it happened, but I have no clue. There was no error from property base at all and I can see it tried to sync.

All I did to fix it was go into Refinery and hit "Save"

I'm not checking for this all the time. So every time I've reached out is when I've checked, and it's wrong...so is it a browser thing for me? I tried Chrome and Safari. Both showed over 100 photos.

As for Expose, we were on a training call with PB yesterday, and they were showing us how to use the Browser feature, which pulls the expose photo, and it was wrong too. I just don't feel confident this is all working correctly.

CodySwannGT commented 7 years ago

Well, this was a matter of that it just didn't sync...

I don't think this has anything to do with a browser. It just didn't sync the photos so you saw tons of duplicates

johnsisland commented 7 years ago

Ok. But we don't know why it's not synching.

CodySwannGT commented 7 years ago

That's exactly right. From what I see, I told PB to sync and it said it did, but it just didn't

Per our Wed phone call, I mentioned that the few times we are using this Browser feature to access email templates with images to send to our clients, the main Expose image isn't always showing/matching the correct main image as designated via our website. I'm not confident this is working properly. Can PB team help look into this?

CodySwannGT commented 7 years ago

@johnsisland they're asking for an example of a property/listing where the 'expose' image is not showing up in the browser email template.

I also want to confirm that is, in fact, the issue here as we seem to have multiple issues in the this ticket.

The first one, as I understand it, was that the images were not synced with the website.

That was solved by clicking the "save" button on the refinery listing.

The second issue is that the image in the "expose" is not the image that is showing up in the browser when you preview email templates.

Correct?

@johnsisland I still haven't heard back from support on this. I'm going to send them a follow up today.
