Salesforce/PB isn't linking images/docs/google map from JIRE website after HTTPS update?

I haven't had time to test this but would appreciate you doing some research...

It's been brought to my attention that listings in PB are not showing any photos/images/docs or google map info. not sure if this is something related to the HTTPS? Can you help?

They were there a few weeks ago, b/c I created a new Portfolio news release and the thumbnails of all the past issues were there. I upload every time I create a new listing. Where did they go?

Not sure. They're not in the DB so I'm guessing they got deleted inadvertently.

We didn't notice until the SSL cutover because they were cached and cutting over cleared all of the caches.

I went into the Mar/Apr Portfolio news release and tried to re-add the image (successfully) but then when I add the link, I get the error page. Very frustrating. What's going on?

@johnsisland two things:

1) Are you still having the problem saving?

2) The image objects were definitely deleted - I went way back through the logs. Unfortunately, it doesn't tell us WHO deleted them.

No one deleted them, so it had to be something automated.

As for adding the photo back into the news release and trying to make it a linkable image, it still generates an error. Here is what I'm doing:

• Select to edit the news release
• Insert image, no sizing, save
• select image, insert link, next window is the error page

Definitely wasn't automated as there was an admin session cookie with the action. Why I say I can't tell whom it was is because the session cookies are encrypted. If it were automated, there wouldn't be a session cookie at all.

I'll try to replicate the error now.

You need to do the last step, which is to highlight the image and "insert link" and pick the url for that digital magazine. When you hit "insert link" that pop up window is now an Error page.

Come to think of it, when I had created the latest Portfolio new release (I only do 6 a year), that's when I noticed that the older Portfolio news releases has missing links to their images (to read the digital edition). It was the last 3 issues. beyond that the links were working. I did go in and relink them. Seems that didn't work and wonder if it then somehow ruined the link to the actual image. The image filename is still there, but no file. That could be the log-in sessions you saw.

You see, the workflow noted above, is the workflow I've had in place for years...because it is saved as an event in my calendar. That way anyone who takes over my job/duties, or my assistant, knows what to do. it doesn't work any longer.
